How to connect to Honda Bluetooth with multiple phones

Bluetooth connectivity can really make driving easier, especially if you are trying to answer calls and make it on time for all the appointments on your calendar. With this feature you can play your favorite music, send text messages and answer calls without even having to pick up your phone. And if you have multiple people using your Honda, it's easy to connect multiple phones to the Bluetooth. Here's how to do it.

Guide to setting up Bluetooth on a Honda

1) Turn on your Honda and put it into Park
2) Select the "Home" then "Phone" and finally "Yes"
3) Go into your smartphone's setting and enable Bluetooth and make sure the device is set to discoverable
4) On your Honda's display, choose "Add Bluetooth Device" and then select "Continue"
5) Once your device's name appears on your Honda's display, select it

(Is your device not coming up? Double-check that your device is fully charged, is compatible with your Honda, Bluetooth is on and your device is set to discoverable. Still no luck? Press "Refresh" or "Phone Not Found" on your Honda's display and follow the instructions.)

How to connect multiple devices to Bluetooth

Okay, once you have the first device connected, you may want to connect another. Here's how:

1) Make sure your smartphone has Bluetooth enabled and is set to discoverable
2) Go to "Settings" on your Honda's display
3) Then select "Phone" and then "Bluetooth" and finally "Add Bluetooth Device" on the display
4) Select the other device to connect

How to switch between 2 phones paired to Honda Bluetooth

So now you have more than one phone connected, but how do you switch back and forth between the two? There are a couple of ways you can do it. You can have one phone paired with Bluetooth and another plugged into the Honda's infotainment system with the Bluetooth off. When you plug in the device, your Honda will then ask which device you would like to use with Bluetooth connectivity.

Another option is to go into the phone settings screen on your Honda's touchscreen by selecting "Home" then "Settings" and then "Phone." Then choose "Connect Phone" and you can choose the device you want active that way.
